Michele Dawn Truitt

Michele Dawn Truitt, 36, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away April 4, 2023 in her home. She was born August 15, 1986 in Fayetteville, AR to Russell Martin Jedlicka and Lisa Michele Smith. Michele had three siblings Jeff, Brandy, Zack. She graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 2004 at the age of 18. She married Christopher Truitt in 2005 and was married for seventeen years. During that time she had two children Austin Truitt and Tucker Truitt and adopted Hailey Truitt to be her own in 2018. Michele was a true giver at heart. She was fun loving, spontaneous, free spirited and was always up for an adventure. She practiced Yoga and was studying to teach it. She was very creative and loved to craft, she always had a project going on whether it was engraving or knitting, she loved making things for others. She was a great mother, grandmother, and wife. She was hard working and kind with a heart of gold, she had so much compassion for others and lived her life to help people whenever they needed it. Her children would describe her as selfless and always putting their needs before her own, and always willing to listen and help in any way she could. She was someone to count on for advice and she was fearless when it came to them. She stood up for anything she believed in. She was sweet and full of love. Her biggest priority was her kids and grandbaby. You will forever be missed, My Love. Until we meet again. Michele is survived by her husband Christopher Truitt, Daughter, Hailey Truitt of Bentonville, Arkansas; Her son’s Austin & Tucker Truitt of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Her Granddaughter Mary Jane Carr of Bentonville, Arkansas; Her Father Russell and wife Shelly Jedlicka of Springdale, Arkansas; Her Uncle and Aunt, Rick and Regena Jedlicka of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; Uncle Randy Jedlicka; Her Brother and sister in-law Jeff and Micah Jedlicka of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Cousin and cousin in-law Tamra and Brian Noe of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; Her Mother Lisa Bohannan of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Sister and brother in-law Brandie and Duncan Tabor of Watts Oklahoma; Brother Zack Bohannan of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Cousin James Bullis Jr. of Jenks, Oklahoma; Cousin Christopher Bullis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Cousin Joshua Bullis of Tulsa Oaklahoma; four nieces, Rosemary, Emelia Jedlicka, Ava Grace Landon, Willow Smedley; two Nephews Benton Tabor, Casper Smedley. She was preceded in death by her Granny Judith G. Jedlicka, Grandpa Gilbert F. Jedlicka, Uncle Robert Jedlicka. Uncle Donald Myers. Aunt Cat Bullis. A visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Wasson Funeral Home.
