Louise Whitaker

Louise Whitaker, 84, of Lincoln, Nebraska, formerly of Gentry and Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died Monday, March 28, 2005, in Lincoln. Born August 13, 1920 in Basil, Kansas, she was the daughter of Amos and Amelia Kaufman. She lived most of her adult life in Gentry and Siloam Springs, and was active in the Baptist Church. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Whitaker; and three brothers, Victor, Richard, and Eldon Kaufman. Survivors include one son, Jim Whitaker and his wife Gayle of San Ramon, California; one daughter Faye Moulton and husband Gary of Lincoln, Nebrasaa; two grandsons, Jason Whitaker of San Francisco, California and Russell Moulton and wife Debra of Big Sandy, Texas; three granddaughters, Kim Reynolds and husband Roger of Forest Grove, Oregon, Luanne Harms and husband Bill of Ashland, Oregon, Donna Gemperle and husband Steve of San Jose, California; four great grandsons, Daniel Moulton of Norman, Oklahoma, Jeremy Moulton and wife Bonny of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Nicholas Reynolds of Forest Grove, Oregon; one graet granddaughter, Christian Harms of Ashland, Oregon; five great granddaughters, Natalie Reynolds of Portland, Oregon, Kaitlyn and Grace Moulton of Big Sandy, Texas, Jacquelyn and Allessandra Harms of Ashland, Oregon; and one great-great granddaughter Montana Moulton of Weatherford, Oklahoma; two brothers, Leo Kaufman and wife Esther of Gentry, Arkansas and Harry Kaufman and wife Pat of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Dorothy Trammell of Dallas, Texas, Opal Moomey and husband Forest of Gentry, Arkansas, Ellen Garvin and husband Glen of La Habra, California; three sisters-in-law, Lily Kaufman of San Leandro, California, Faye Kaufman of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Jane Kaufman of Carney, Oklahoma; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2005, at the Fist Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Arkansas. Visitation will be 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2005, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
