With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lisa Kaye Wooten who left this world on January 28, 2026, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted mother, a proud and loving Nana, a cherished daughter, and a beloved sister. Her life was defined by her strength, selflessness, and the deep love she had for her family. As a mother, she gave endlessly of herself. She was nurturing, protective, and always placed her children first. Her love was steady and unconditional, and her children were her greatest pride. She taught by example—showing kindness, resilience, and what it meant to truly love others. Becoming a Nana was one of her greatest joys. She adored her grandson and treasured every moment spent with him. The bond she shared with him was filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love—memories that will be held close forever. She was also a loving daughter and sister who valued family above all else. She remained deeply connected to those she loved and was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or simply be present when someone needed her. In her free time, she found joy in fishing, where she could relax and enjoy the peace of the outdoors. She also loved racing and the excitement that came with it, embracing both the calm and adventurous sides of life. These passions reflected her spirited personality and her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the love she gave, the sacrifices she made, and the memories she created. Her legacy of love, devotion, and strength will live on through all who were blessed to know her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lewis and Elva Nichols, and John and Audrey Wooten. She is survived by her parents, Sherrel and Kay Wooten of Grove, Oklahoma; her son, Brian Mayhew of Colcord, Oklahoma; her daughters, Felicia Mayhew of Colcord, Oklahoma, and Brooke Mayhew of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; her beloved grandson, Charlie Mayhew of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; her sister, Sherri Selent, and her husband, Jeff Selent of Gentry, Arkansas; her partner, Greg Gardner of Colcord, Oklahoma. A visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Wasson Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Countryside Bible Church in Colcord, Oklahoma with a committal service to follow at Row Cemetery in Colcord, Oklahoma.
