Thomas Wayne Wilmoth Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Thomas Wayne Wilmoth gained his angel wings on July 12,2022. Thomas was born to Thomas Edward Jr. and Marjorie Wilmoth in Wichita, Kansas on November 11, 1957. He was a graduate of Decatur High School in Decatur, Arkansas in 1975. He continued his education and passion into a career in computer science and networking technology. Thomas was employed by Phillips 66, and he adored his work family and those he got to connect with over the years. Tom was talented at taking things apart and putting them back together, in so many ways. One of his passions was building and working on cars and motors, and his children share many memories of repairing and working on things together. He also specialized in helping people. There was never a task that Tom would not take on to help someone, even if it meant sacrificing his own desires. He had a thirst for education and craved constantly to better himself as well as teach those around him. Tom was passionate about his family first and foremost. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Jean Wilmoth; his children and their spouses Jason Wilmoth, Michael and Faith Wilmoth, Ashley Wilmoth, and Blake and Candace Purdom; his grandchildren Kyler Wilmoth, Garrett Wilmoth, Haley Wilmoth, Peyton Wilmoth, Hunter Wilmoth, and Clayton Purdom; and numerous other family members that he cherished. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Marjorie Wilmoth and his brother, Arthur Wilmoth. We will be celebrating his wonderful life with a Visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and a Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Wasson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Falling Springs Cemetery in Decatur, Arkansas.
