Curtis Eugene Carter, 67, of Highfill, Arkansas, died on November 26, 2021, at Circle of Life Legacy House in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born on December 26, 1953, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to Lyle Eugene Carter and Dorismerine Elliott. Curtis worked for Wal-Mart for over 30 years as a yard driver. His CB Handle became his nickname, “White Lightening”. He and his wife Leta Fern Tedford Carter have been married for 47 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Doris. He is survived by his wife, Leta Fern, of Highfill, Arkansas; one son, John Carter and wife Marlene, of Highfill, Arkansas; three sisters, Lila Jackson, of Rogersville, Missouri, Ila Reid, of Centerton, Arkansas, and Lisa Jones and husband Leon, of Highfill, Arkansas; two grandsons, Nathan and Joshua Carter, and one granddaughter, Destiney Carter. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Wasson Funeral Home, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Graveside service will be on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Highfill Cemetery in Highfill, Arkansas, at 2:00 PM
