Clyde Saylor Carvin

Clyde Saylor Carvin, age 90, died on January 10, 2022, in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born December 3, 1931, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania to Walter and Rose (Straw) Carvin. Clyde was a corpsman in the United States Navy. During his four years of service, he got the opportunity to sail around the world as a crewmember of the aircraft carrier USS Hornet. After leaving the navy he became a registered nurse anesthetist retiring after almost 40 years. He is preceded in death by both parents, brother, Walter Carvin, and sister, Ruth Prideaux. He is survived by his wife, June (Murdock) Carvin; son, Keith and wife Dawn Carvin of Cave Springs, Arkansas; daughter, Kathy and husband Albert Graeber of Shamong, New Jersey, Kim and Tim Peterson of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; with numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 10:30AM.
