Chad Allen Jones Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Chad Allen Jones, age 35 of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away May 25, 2022. He was born March 16, 1987, to Cindy Vetor and Eddie Jones. Chad grew up in Gentry, Arkansas and it was there he began to develop his distinct personality. He had such a quick snarky wit and loved making others laugh. His “love language” to the world was made up of humor and funny, exaggerated stories. (He probably would hate that phrase “love language” and make fun of it) He told stories of events that happened and put his own spin on them to make everyone laugh. Only Chad could turn the story of working on equipment on a farm into a dangerous adventure! Chad was a loyal friend and believed in second and even third chances. He didn’t often show his softer side, but he was empathetic and would often say things like “If that was me, I would want another chance.” Chad was known to be unwavering, devoted, and passionate about his Dallas Cowboys. There is little doubt that after greeting Jesus at the pearly gates, he set off to find any former Cowboys’ players. He even had a Dallas Cowboys themed Christmas Tree. Once football season started, Chad scheduled everything around when the Cowboys played. Two of his most prized Cowboys items were his Tony Romo Cowboys jersey and a favorite Cowboys blanket. (Chad gave the blanket to Kiley which is a testament to how deeply he loved her) Chad also loved Dungeons and Dragons, a passion he shared with his uncle/best friend Michael. Every November, Chad would travel to Indiana to spend a week at Michael’s to do all things D&D. Once home, Chad spent countless hours creating games, painting figures, and sculpting and painting elaborate scenes to use when he hosted his D&D games. Chad was passionate about so much in life and made so many people smile. He loved adventures big and small and could find humor and laughter in so many ways, but nothing has ever made him happier than he has been since meeting the love of his life, Cassandra, and her daughter Kiley. As their love grew, you could see the contentment and happiness when you looked at him. Don’t let this lead you to believe that he didn’t give both of them a hard time though. God picked out the perfect people to be able to give Chad back as good as he gave! An earthly life cut short leaves us wishing for more, but we can receive comfort knowing that means more time for him in Heaven! Chad is survived by his mom, Cindy Vetor; his dad, Eddie Jones and wife Sandy; his fiancé Cassandra Smiley and daughter Kiley; his sisters, Brandy Fowler and husband Jordan; Tori Pattermann and husband Logan; his brothers, Keeten Jones and wife Ashley; and Jacob Bradford; Grandmother, Norma Ballard; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and close friends. Services are as follows: Visitation, Tuesday, May 31, 2022, 6 pm-8 pm at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A Celebration of Life service Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 10 am at Wasson Funeral Home. We would like to invite all who attend to dress casually. We feel it would honor Chad by wearing jeans, sports jerseys etc. We welcome you to share a funny story or special memory that you had with him.
