Wilma Lucille Webb

Born December 9, 1932 at her home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Rex Cooper and Lona Yount. At an early age she moved to Northwest Arkansas. This is where she met Dale Webb, in the bean patch. They married while Dale was home on leave from the US Navy. Dale was six days shy of his 21 birthday and his parents had to sign for them to be married. The first three years of their marriage Dale was stationed on the USS Philippine Sea. Dale and Wilma were true soulmates. They made their home in Seager Creek Hollow, outside of Siloam Springs, AR. In this home they raised their three children; Rocky, Ronnie Joe, and Sherri Gayle. Wilma was a true homemaker by helping on the family farm. To add to the family income she baked and decorated cakes, picked strawberries, walnuts, and poke. Many people remember Wilma for her intricate quilts. She had a passion for gifting her quilts for marriages, births, graduations, and birthdays. She was an avid Sunday school teacher. She was creative in developing her own bible school lessons, songs, and poems. She was the hands and feet of Christ for all around her. After retirement she enjoyed spending time traveling with her family. Wilma is survived by her soulmate of 68 years Dale Webb, son Rocky Webb and wife Katherine of Colcord, OK, son Ronnie Joe Webb of the home, daughter Sherri Gayle Tate and husband Jim of Chouteau, Ok. She is survived by six grandchildren: Heath Linn and wife Heather, Shelly Jones and husband Bill, Cameron Webb and wife April, Jay Tate and wife Brittany, Harmoni Erhardt and husband Mark, Lance Tate and wife Michelle. She is survived by 16 great-grandchildren: Tenneil, Ethan, Lauren, Michaela, Breanna, Cade, Taylor, Jayden, Mayci, Lincoln, Cadence, Elijah, Joe, Eleanor, Bennett and Emma Lucille. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, life long friends. Wilma is preceded in death by her parents Rex and Lona Cooper, sisters Owanda Kidder and Okemah Epperson, nephews Rex Kidder and Ray Epperson III. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2019 at Gentry Cemetery in Gentry, Arkansas, with Lance Tate officiating.
