Wilma Lee Roberts, 80, passed from this life on August 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of the family she cherished so deeply. Wilma was born on October 19, 1945, and graduated from Kansas High School in Kansas, Oklahoma. Although her roots began in Oklahoma, she spent most of her life in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, where she and her husband, Johnny Roberts, built a life, raised their family, and became familiar faces to so many throughout the community. Wilma married the love of her life, Johnny Roberts, on January 11, 1963. Together, they welcomed three children and spent more than 63 years side by side. Their life together was filled with family, hard work, and countless adventures in business. Wilma and Johnny owned and operated Stateline First Stop, as well as multiple feed stores throughout the years. Wilma was also Johnny’s right-hand lady throughout his remarkable 60-year career as an auctioneer. Whether she was clerking an auction, working as cashier, or simply making sure everything ran the way it should, Wilma was always there beside him. They truly built their life together as a team. Away from work, Wilma found happiness in the simple things she loved most. She loved to cook, tend to her garden, shop, and spend time with her sweet dog, Cash. More than anything, Wilma loved her family. Being “Pam-ma” was one of her greatest joys, and her grandchildren held an especially precious place in her heart. The love she gave them, the memories they made together, and the special bond they shared will remain with them always. Wilma is survived by her husband, Johnny Roberts; her sons, Paul Roberts and Jason Roberts; her daughter, Kendra O’Dell, and son-in-law, Terren O’Dell; her brother, Joe Earl Carnes; her granddaughter, Megan Carron; her granddaughters, Ellie O’Dell, Haezel Ellison, and Kollins Ellison; along with a multitude of extended family members and dear friends who will miss her greatly. Wilma was preceded in death by her mother, Vera Carnes; her grandparents, Elizabeth and Earl Collins; and her precious granddaughters, Hadley O’Dell and Leightyn O’Dell. Wilma’s life was one of devotion—to her husband, her family, their businesses, and the people she loved. After more than six decades beside Johnny, countless meals around the table, gardens tended, auctions worked, and memories made, she leaves behind a legacy that cannot be measured simply in years. To many she was Wilma, but to the children and grandchildren who adored her, she was simply “Mom” or “Pam-ma”—the names she treasured most and the ones that will forever be spoken with love. Wilma’s visitation well be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with her funeral the next day, Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Wasson Funeral Home, 441 Hwy 412 W., Siloam Springs, AR., with Pastor Mike Rogers officiating.
