Sandra Kathleen Miranda

Sandra Kathleen Miranda, 70-year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died on January 16, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on May 1, 1953, in Siloam Springs, to Luther Anderson Waldrip and Donna Ruth (Long) Waldrip. She graduated from Gentry High School in Gentry, Arkansas, in 1968. Sandra loved the Lord and was a member of Dwelling Place Church. She was the type of person who never met a stranger and was always very helpful to anyone who needed her. Sandra was also a hard worker, and absolutely loved working at McKee for 37 years, as well as all the friends she had there. She loved music, dancing, camping, swimming, and traveling. Sandra also had a green thumb and loved working in her flower gardens. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Sandra deeply loved her children and took pride in her grandchildren. And she immensely loved her husband, Johnny, and would always call each other "Baby." She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She is preceded in death by her son, Stephen Reed; grandson, Caleb Cooper; brother, Bob Waldrip; and sister, Janice Kimball. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Juan Miranda; daughters, Sondra Cooper (Richard), of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Felicia Staten (Ryan), of Elkins, Arkansas; son, Kevin Reed, of Springtown, Arkansas; brother, Luke Waldrip (Jo Anne), of Rogers, Arkansas; grandchildren, Collin Chase Cooper, of Richmond, Kentucky, Steven Barker, of Elkins, Arkansas, and Chandler Chase Cooper, of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Visitation will be Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM, officiated by Janet Long of Living Water Ministries and Pastor Marcus Carruthers of Oklahoma City. The burial will take place at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, Arkansas. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Steven Barker, Ryan Staten, Richard Cooper, Kevin Reed, Collin Cooper, Luke Waldrip, and Chandler Cooper. There will be forget-me-not flower seeds for the guests in attendance to plant in remembrance of Sandra.
