Kyle Lee Huffman

Kyle Lee Huffman, age 38, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away on August 12, 2026. Kyle was born on April 4, 1988, in Modesto, California, to Tammy and Kenneth “JR” Huffman. Siloam Springs became home to Kyle and the community he would eventually dedicate so much of his life to serving. As a Siloam Springs Panther, Kyle participated in football, track, and powerlifting before graduating from Siloam Springs High School. Graduation, however, was only the beginning of Kyle’s education. He was truly a lifelong learner, always challenging himself and pursuing opportunities to grow. Throughout his adulthood, Kyle earned multiple degrees and certifications, becoming an EMT, paramedic, and registered nurse. That desire to learn went hand in hand with Kyle’s desire to serve others. Kyle dedicated many years to the fire service, eventually earning the rank of Captain and becoming a highly decorated firefighter. He also spent many years serving part-time as a police officer with the Highfill Police Department. Whether he was working as a firefighter, police officer, paramedic, or nurse, Kyle chose a life centered around helping and protecting others. The fire service also gave Kyle another family—his firefighter brothers and sisters. The bonds formed through years of serving side by side, trusting one another, and answering the call together are difficult to put into words. Those brothers and sisters were an important part of Kyle’s life, just as he was an important part of theirs. For someone only 38 years old, what Kyle accomplished professionally was remarkable. But none of those accomplishments tell the whole story of who he was. Kyle was a son. A brother. An uncle. An amazing husband. And he was a great friend—the kind of friend you could call, the kind who would show up, and the kind of friend who often became more like family. But perhaps the greatest title Kyle ever held was Dad. Kyle was the perfect girl dad. He loved his girls fiercely and wholeheartedly, and anyone who knew him knew how much they meant to him. For a man who could be strong, tough, and fearless, his girls brought out a tenderness in him that was unmistakable. He was proud of them, protective of them, and loved them beyond measure. The love Kyle gave his girls cannot be taken away. They will carry pieces of their dad with them—in who they are, in the lessons he taught them, in the stories they tell, and in the memories they will hold onto forever. Thirty-eight years was not nearly enough time. But Kyle’s life cannot be measured only by the number of years he was here. It can be measured in the people he helped, the community he served, the friendships he built, his firefighter family, the family who loved him, and especially in his girls. Kyle is survived by his mother, Tammy Huffman; his brother, Craig and Samantha Huffman; his sisters, Amanda Huffman, Rochelle and Dakota Stockton, Jessica Huffman, and Ashley Huffman; and his daughters, Kendee Huffman, Emri Caudle, and Cambri Huffman. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Alyssa Huffman, Austyn Huffman, Carson Huffman, Coby Crisp, Samuel D. Stockton, Lane Huffman, and Kayley Stockton; his grandfather, Kenneth Huffman; his aunts, Kim (Garren) Davis, Terry (Jason) Crabtree, and Eva Crain; his uncle, Emmit “Ed” Dalton; and his cousins, Nicholas Davis, Nathan (Paige) Davis, Timothy (Julie) Davis, Thomas Davis, Doc Wade Dawdy, Lauren Davis, Jacob Utz, Matt (Jasmine) Utz, Gannon Crabtree, and Amy Stallion. Kyle was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth “JR” Huffman; his grandmother, Pamela Huffman; and his grandmother, Tootie Longley. Kyle learned. He led. He protected. He cared. He served. And he loved. He was a son, a brother, an uncle, a great friend, a loyal husband, a brother to those who served beside him, and an incredible father. Kyle was deeply loved. He is deeply loved. And he will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 16th, from 4:00–8:00 PM at New Life Church, located at 1611 Cheri Whitlock Dr. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 17th, at 2:00 PM at New Life Church. Graveside services will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
