JoRene Partain

JoRene Partain, 86, of Kansas, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 30, 1939, to Joanna Buchanan - Moore and Robert G. Moore of Kansas, Oklahoma. She attended and graduated from Kansas Public Schools in 1957. She then married the love of her life “because he was a good kisser” Louis Wayne Partain on May 4, 1957. She attended beauty school and was a beautician, while being a stay-at-home mom taking care of her two children Balinda Jo and Arlin J. JoRene was a devoted Christian and was a faithful member of the Galilean Church. She lived her life guided by faith and love, touching the lives of many with her kindness and compassion. JoRene shared a love with the open road with her husband, traveling to various places and creating cherished memories together. She loved all her family deeply, nurturing them with unwavering support and affection. Her family was her pride and joy, and she instilled in them the values of faith, love, and togetherness. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who knew her. As we celebrate her life, we remember her warmth, laughter, and the countless moments of joy she brought into our lives. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts. JoRene was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandma, great grandma, and great-great grandma. She is proceeded in death by her parents Joanna Buchanan- Roberts and Robert Moore and her son Arlin J Partain. Her sister Debbie Moore. She is survived by her Loving husband of 67 years, Louis Partain of the home; daughter Balinda Mallow and husband Kevin, of Kansas, Oklahoma; sisters Myrtle Sue Reed and her children Regina and Chance, of Kansas, Oklahoma; Carolyn Edwards of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Hannah Miller of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother David Moore of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Heather Hail and husband Patrick of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Leigha Lankston and husband Greg of Kansas, Oklahoma; Darrin Mallow of Kansas, Oklahoma; Jennifer Doty and husband Jess of Colcord, Oklahoma; Taylor Partain and Brent Soldier of Kansas, Oklahoma. She has 24 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. A visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Wasson Funeral Home. A celebration of life is scheduled at 2:00 p.m. April 15, 2025, at the Galilean Church of Kansas, Oklahoma with a committal service to follow at the Kansas Cemetery.
